The vacation home is situated in the historic city centre of
Freiburg, directly in the pedestrian zone, above an attractive French
restaurant. An ideal starting point to find out on foot the sights and the
shopping streets.
The lodging can be easily reached by the tram from the train central station in
6 minutes.
The modern, friendly one roomed apartment with a size of about 30m² is
suitable for max. 2 persons.
The apartment is at the end of the Fisherau street, one with a large water
'baechle' running down it, above a French restaurant. The room is modern, mostly
white in colour, has a clean feel to it and is very airy, as it has a total of
three windows. There is a kitchenette with plates, cups, glasses and basic
cooking utensils, and a refrigerator with freezing compartment. There is also a
TV with Cable (Mostly German language channels, a few French and CNN, CNBC in
English) and radio/CD player. There is no telephone fitted.
At 52 EUR per night (without reserved parking) and 58 EUR per night with
parking space in an underground garage nearby, the apartment is very cheap,
especially for it's location. The owner speaks English and was very helpful in
our experience.
There are some 'rules of stay' at the apartment that might not fit everyone's
needs, they are :
- Checkout at the latest 10:00am on the morning of the last day of stay.
- Towels are included but there are only 2 large towels and 2 small towels,
therefore one should bring extra towels should you be staying longer than a few
days.
- All washing-up must be done before leaving the apartment.
