Cheers bar, Freiburg, is a spin-off chain of the Hard Rock Cafe chain of bars. Based in the An der Mehlwaage number 8, Cheers is a somewhat small but busy pub.
Usually busy when the Students are in town and even managing to pull in a full crowd when they're not in town, this bar has a lot of special offers, most notably the "3-2-1" offer that runs on Tuesday nights, amazingly. This offer means that your first drink (be it a beer, a mixed drink or a standard spirit) can be bought for three Euros, the second for two and the third drink for one Euro.
The bar serves food at the following times:
Monday to Thursday until 11pm, Friday and Saturday until 12am and on Sunday until 10pm.
Even more impressive is that the bar offers a shuttle bus service that runs on a Friday and Saturday night, between Fiesta Bar in Kirchzarten, Time out and Cheers in Freiburg and is completely free to use. A timetable of the bus can be found at http://www.cheers-freiburg.de/service.htm
