Nice little coffee house on the Habsburgerstrasse, close to the hospital. Due to the busy street being always full with traffic I personally do not like to sit outside but many people do, there's always somebody there, so it's definitely a busy place.
Coffee Factory first opened it's doors way back in 1996 so for over ten years they have been serving the people of Freiburg and those visitors who dared to make their way just outside of the city centre.
Very modern inside and the staff were pleasingly helpful. English spoken there too! We had breakfast there and a good breakfast it was too. Coffee Factory is known not only for their coffee, their toasted snacks and paninis are a treat for the eyes as well as the stomach.
The menu is based rougly around a Mediterranean theme and they offer some fair priced lunches as well as an evening menu.
In the evenings they boast a large cocktail menu, over 35 in total and very often a DJ plays on a Saturday night turning the quiet coffee house into a atmospheric discotheque.
