Located by/above the Hauptbahnhof, this three floor establishment houses a sassy restaurant during the day and transforms into a bar and lounge at night.
The bar does cocktails as well as the usual beverages and they have a live band on the 1st Sunday of the month.
Kagen, whose entrance is on the 17th floor of the skyscraper that's part of the Freiburg Railway Station. Scattered over two floors of the skyscraper, you'll find a cocktail lounge, and upstairs, a small disco that attracts an older (mid-30s to 50s) and relatively prosperous clientele of relatively well-dressed people.
Entrance is free, and it's open every evening from 6pm till at least 3am. Be aware that you will have to pay to have someone look after your jacket, should you be wearing one, as jackets are not allowed into the club/bar area. This costs 1 Euro per item and is non-refundable.
