Brasil, or to give it it's full name "Brasil Cafe Restaurant Cocktailbar", is situated in the heart of the Stuehlinger region of Freiburg, right on the corner of wannerstraße and eschholzstraße.
Opened in 2003 after a renovation and the introduction of outside seating, Brasil is very popular with Students and cocktail fans, despite being situated out of the city centre. (of course it is very reachable by public transport - the number 1 tram towards Landwasser will take you towards Brasil). Parking is not really possible as all parking spaces near the bar are either fiercely contested by prowling cars with dipped headlights, waiting for the chance to park, or are for people living in the area with a special badge displayed in their cars.
