It is almost the center of the region Feldberg-Hinterzarten-Titisee and is therefore the ideal starting point for the wide range of hiking tours.

There are a number of attractions close at hand including the "Hinterzarten Moor" nature reserve, "Kesslermoos" and the "Bisten". You can walk to the Höllen valley, Ravenna gorge and Titisee in an afternoon and the Feldberg is only a day`s hike away.
